TEAM ALPHA MOO
The second patrol camp weekend started off when Alex's patrol arrived and their first job was to cook dinner.. which was sweet and sour chicken. The patrol then set about designing a new brand of cereal that would promote scouting and the jamboree and be a fundraiser. They come up with the name 'cowbix' 'fuel for a farmers day' The cereal included a free soft toy inside! They also come up with a TV advert which was pretty special.
One of the patrol members brought along some amazing cow cupcakes which were really yummy!! They spent time making the leaders play twister their idea for evening entertainment. Kasey didn't enjoy it much as Kev has his bum in her face! The patrol members then spent time running several Japan in a box activities with the leaders.
Our lunch was Japanese pot noodles, with Japanese seaweed crisps, and normal Japanese crisps, accompanied by a can of sweat! Not actual sweat, its just the brand name!! The patrol then set to coming up with a name and agreed on TEAM ALPHA MOO! They come up with a roll call! and a rap!!

HOOFING BRILLIANT #MOO
Then we were on to the final 24 hour session when Theas patrol arrived! We have a nice stir fry with the same ingredients. Andrew and David decided they would use the chillies to have a eat off! Following the evening meal the patrol began their Apprentice challenge. Their pitch to the leaders didnt go so well with lots and lots of laughter will delivering the pitch! Eventually after the majority of the patrol had left the room we eventually got the pitched finished!
The patrols evening cow entertainment idea was also twister! They had however come up with their own twister mat complete with hooves, horns, cow tails and udders! They made the leader team play their second game of twister in 2 days! Following on from that when the tents were put up the patrol decorated the inside by putting up lots of cow print balloons.
The next day started with another wake and shake followed by naming the patrol. The patrol spent much time deliberating the name and eventually decided on hoofing brilliant #moo. There was even more hot and spicy shin cup noodles and a final Q&A session with the members parents! The leaders we exhausted after completing the same programme for the fourth time! It was great seeing the unit members in patrols instead of a unit as it gave a chance for everyone to shine.
